The POISE Foundation has officially launched the Hill District Professional Development Fund, offering up to $2,500 to support organizational growth for 501(c)3 organizations.

Dr. Jones grew up in Glen Hazel, and launched the scholarship to financially assist teens in the 15207 zip code in their pursuit of a college education.
Income from this fund will be used for scholarships for students. Robert’s vision is that through this fund, thousands of families will be impacted and his son’s legacy will be carried forth through this program.
The purpose of this scholarship is to provide financial assistance to FULL TIME undergraduate students who are pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or are enrolled in a BSN pathway program.
POISE Foundation accepts online grant applications twice a year during its Spring and Fall funding cycle for requests that fit within one or more of its Priority Areas and are for activities within the Pittsburgh Region.
Students who live within the attendance boundaries of a low-achieving school, as determined by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, are eligible to receive a scholarship if their household’s annual income is no greater than $105,183 plus $18,514 for each dependent member of the household.

This scholarship is for incoming college freshmen, and sophomores attending Postsecondary education in Pennsylvania; Georgia; or Washington, D.C.
This fund provide scholarships for students who are pursuing a teaching career in Early Childhood Education or Special Education in accredited education programs in Western Pennsylvania.

The Kilby Family Endowed Scholarship Fund provides scholarships to descendants* of persons enslaved in Culpeper, Rappahannock and Madison counties, Virginia, prior to the end of the Civil War in 1865.
