INVESTING IN THE BLACK COMMUNITIES OF TOMORROW
This scholarship was established in 1981 by Robert B. Pease, a long time friend of Bernard H. Jones and supporter of Urban Youth Action and POISE Foundation. Income from this fund is to be used for scholarship aid, preferably in the field of Engineering.
The recipient must reside in Allegheny County and attend a two year or four year university. Preference is given to students studying in the field of Engineering. African American students are strongly encouraged to apply. Residents of Allegheny County can attend schools outside of the area.
POISE Foundation grants one (1) Robert B. Pease Scholarship annually approximately worth between $1,500-$2,500.
