INVESTING IN THE BLACK COMMUNITIES OF TOMORROW
The Kappa Scholarship Endowment Fund of Western PA (“KSEF”) was the brainchild of Mr. Thomas A. Motley, Sr., past Polemarch of the Pittsburgh Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. KSEF was created as the philanthropic arm of the Pittsburgh Alumni Chapter to offer financial assistance via scholarships and financial awards to support the needs of African American students at the undergraduate level. Over the past 30 years, KSEF has provided over $3 million dollars in financial support to over 190 minority college-bound students from Western PA.
This scholarship is limited to high school seniors
Minimum Requirements
Student must live in the Greater Pittsburgh Region (Allegheny County, Beaver County, Washington County, Westmoreland County, Armstrong County, or Butler County)
Have at least a 3.00 GPA
Preference is given to African American students
