CLEVELAND WAY

Community Engagement Manager – Black Equity Coalition

Cleveland Joseph Way, a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, has a wife of 22 years, five children of their own, and three adopted. He received two master’s degrees from Liberty University: A Master of Arts in Religion and a Master of Divinity in Pastoral Counseling. He planted a church in Williamsport, PA, and currently serves as the Pastor of Cogan House Community Church. He has twenty-two years of experience in the Human Service field and a passion for serving and helping individuals and families achieve self-sufficiency and self-worth.

Upon recognizing the lack of collaboration and gaps in services, Cleveland has been instrumental in enhancing community resource relationships while developing programs to serve the community through resource mapping specific to the individual being served and making them work-ready. He also raised awareness of the community’s need for a hands-on approach and established a new perspective on life for those experiencing anything from homelessness to incarceration. He needs to have an impact on every life he encounters.
