Anthony S. Fountain & Alissa Fountain-Burse Scholarship Fund

INVESTING IN THE BLACK COMMUNITIES OF TOMORROW

The Anthony S. Fountain and Alissa Fountain-Burse Scholarship Fund was established in January 2007 within the POISE Foundation. The purpose of this fund is to provide scholarships to undergraduate and graduate students who are either currently teaching or aspiring to teach in a public school in grades K-12. Students can apply from any school in the United States.

To be eligible for the scholarship applicants must:

  1. Be an undergraduate or graduate student from any school in the United States with a minimum of 60 college credits, majoring in education, and who are either currently teaching or aspiring to teach in grades K-12

  2. Have a minimum of a 2.7 GPA

Up to 3 scholarships in the amount of $5,000 each
