VOLUNTEER SECRETARY

Mrs. Annette Cuffee Gillcrese has been a member of the Board since November 1999. For approximately a year and a half before becoming a member of the Board, she served as Volunteer Secretary. After being elected to the Board in 1999, she served as Secretary until 2016. She is currently a member of the Distribution Committee and the Investment Committee.

Mrs. Gillcrese retired from Fidelity National Information Services, Inc., in 2013, where she was a Senior Applications Programmer. Prior to her employment at Fidelity, she worked in the data processing field at Westinghouse Electric Corporation for 28 years. During her earlier years of employment at Westinghouse, she worked primarily as a systems programmer. During her last 16 years at Westinghouse, she was a technical support manager.

Mrs. Gillcrese is married to C. Richard Gillcrese, and has a son, Clarence R. Gillcrese, II. She lived in Pittsburgh for over 40 years, and returned to her hometown of Chesapeake, VA, in late 2013, where she currently resides. She graduated from Hampton Institute (now Hampton University) in Hampton, VA, with a major in Mathematics. Mrs. Gillcrese is an active member of the historic Gabriel Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church in Chesapeake, VA. She is a member of the Steward Board, the Deaconess Board, the Senior Usher Board, and the Finance Team.

Mrs. Gillcrese is also an
active member of the Longridge – Cuffeytown Legacy Foundation, established in support of the Longridge community (Mrs. Gillcrese’s hometown) of Chesapeake, VA.
