Rho Boule’ Scholars Fund

INVESTING IN THE BLACK COMMUNITIES OF TOMORROW

Established in 2025 by the Board and members of Rho Boule’ to support scholarships for students. The Rho Boule’ Scholarship Endowment aims to support need based high school students as they a pursue college education. The primary goal is to provide financial assistance to reduce the barriers to higher education, enabling recipients to focus on their academic and personal growth. Objectives include awarding scholarships to students with a minimum GPA of 3.0, encouraging academic excellence, and fostering leadership and community involvement. The endowment seeks to empower students to achieve their career aspirations, while promoting a legacy of educational advancement within underserved communities. By supporting students through this critical transition, the Rho Boule’ Scholarship Endowment strives to cultivate future leaders who will contribute meaningfully to society.

To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must:

  • Be a US citizen residing in one of the following counties: Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Fayette, Greene, Lawrence, Washington, or Westmoreland
  • Be a graduating high school senior enrolled in a district located in an underserved community, with preference given to students attending Pittsburgh Public Schools
  • Be accepted into a 4 year college or university 
  • Maintain a 3.0 GPA to remain eligible for scholarship renewal
  • Demonstrate financial need (determined by Student Aid Index (SAI) number listed on FAFSA)

Three (3) to Five (5) renewable scholarships, each in the amount  of $1,000 annually up to four years

The application period is open from: February 1 – April 30, 2026
