Mungereza is currently the Donor Services Associate at POISE Foundation with a background in Humanitarian Interventions in both East Africa and the Middle East. She has a Masters in International Humanitarian Affairs from Fordham University, and a BA in Psychology and Literature from Kenyatta University. In addition, she has over 12-years of work experience with several International and national nonprofit organizations, minority groups, and marginalized communities across the world, including the Housing Authority in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania as Clinical Coordinator. Mungereza speak 4 languages – English, Swahili, French, and her mother tongue.
Her passion and goals are to empower women and youth, alleviate poverty, social injustices, suffering, illiteracy through education, and psychosocial support. Mungereza’s prowess in international humanitarian affairs empowers her exceptionally to serve humanity, and her psychology and linguistics background gives her leverage in terms of dealing with all walks of people. In addition, she has a strong professional initiative and is charismatic, virtuous, responsible, ambitious, and very passionate about what she does.
